Okay, it was an educational one... It was a robot with a rectangular head and body, with two rows of buttons in the front and you would slide cards down the front of it (they would correspond with the buttons).

P.S. Is there anywhere I can get my hands on a pair of hit stix? I can't even find them on ebay!

I think it was Alfred or something with an "A". I know what you're talking about, just can't think of it's name.
