Quoting:
I've been looking everywhere for madonna's music video for Dear Jessie. It's from her Like a Prayer album(1989) and I would really like to see it. It was animated and not released in the U.S.

Depends on what you mean by "not released". If you mean commercially, then yes, I believe that's true. But somewhere along the way, MTV/VH-1 here in the U.S. did get ahold of the "Dear Jessie" video, although I admit I don't recall ever seeing it back when the Like a Prayer album was hot in '89. In fact, I caught the video for the first time about 6-8 weeks ago on VH-1 Classic, and was quite surprised, as I didn't know that she'd made a video for that song. (BTW, it's only partially animated - it's combined w/ live action shots of a young girl in her bedroom at night.)
Well, yesterday (Tuesday), VH-1 Classic aired the "Dear Jessie" video yet again, when they played a block of Madonna videos during their regular "Tuesday Twoplay" programming. I caught the second airing, during the late afternoon, which meant they would be showing it again for a third time early Wednesday morning - at least, under normal circumstances. So about two hours ago, I turned on my TV and had the VCR ready to catch it all on tape, when I realized that VH-1 Classic had broken away from their normal programming mode, and was showing their latest countdown show that is also being aired on VH-1 itself! ARRRGH! (Like if we really wanted to see that stupid countdown show, we couldn't just simply change the channel and watch it on regular VH-1 instead? ???) The higher-ups responsible for programming at VH-1 have been truly lost lately... :-(
