My wife Karen is a big 80's vintage clothing buff.  She still wears the old school Gloria Vanderbilt jeans with the golden swan on the pocket - that's hardcore 80's fashion in the year 2002!

We were looking for a pair of those mid-80's baggy Forenza cargo pants on eBay until they yanked the wanted board a year or so ago.  The pants have big gusseted pockets that start at the waist and extend about half-way down the thigh.  They have no back pockets and ankle snaps so the pants can be buttoned at the ankles.  They came in a variety of colors.  The fabric was cotton like regular slacks, not denim.  Karen would be thrilled if I put a pair or two of her favorite 80's style slacks under the tree this year as a surprise gift ???!

I haven't seen the cargo pants lately, but wanted to let you know that Lerner catalog (and Sears catalog too) carries new Forenza clothes.  Maybe that will help.
