Hello out there:
I am a lifelong MTV freak (well, up until the early 90's when it officially was destroyed) and I am always looking for uninterrupted MTV blocks from 1981-86 with VJs, commercials, videos,etc. I have about 40-50 hours in total which may seem like a lot, but it's really not! My oldest tapes are from 1982. I'd be very happy to trade for anyone who might have what I don't (I have NO interest in MTV shows-just video blocks from the old days), and if you're desperate we can always work something out. Can anyone help me out there? I need more! I started watching in late 1981 and I still have vivid memories of seeing everyone from Ultravox to Saxon, Echo & Bunnymen to Motorhead, Asia to Zebra, ans o on. MTV is a piece of crap now, but I need more memories to relive! Email me if you have anything!
