I believe Morten Harket, the lead singer of A-ha, has still got lots of them. Failing that, I'm not sure. I'll keep my eye out.

Just rip them yourself! ;) Watching older rock videos will give you good ideas. That's how they did it back then. ;)

So THAT'S what Morten did? Maybe I should do the same. Make sure they're faded, too. Otherwise the effect isn't quite so good.

For quick fading, fill your washing machine with water and a hint of bleach (Anymore bleach and you'll have a totally bleached effect). Do this first and then add your jeans.

There are several methods of attaining ripped jeans. Wear them 24/7 until they start to wear thin, then put them into the washing machine. Small holes and tears will appear. Make them bigger.
Work holes into the jeans using scissors or a sharp knife, and then tear.
Use a cheese grater on them. ;D

Question: Can someone explain to me please the erstwhile attraction in wearing ripped jeans???????????????????? ??? ??? Taking a rugged. practical item of clothing and turning it into a mass of shreds and holes seems, well, kinda crazy.
It seems that they've been around too in so lots of different styles too - big haired rockers, NKOTB, Nirvana - even Janet Jackson has worn them.
Any ideas, guys??
That said, I am never opposed to any ladies out there willing to show off a bit of cheek ;) ;)

I just loved my ripped jeans!! They had holes in ALL the right places ;). Real head turners lol Not too much you can wear today to get the same effect from the boys! I miss them :(

With all due respect, why can't you find a pair of jeans you like and rip them your own way?
