I just tried a newer winmx and it still crashes my machine.. I ran adaware and it cleaned out a ton of spyware, and allowed winmx to run before, so maybe I'll try that again.. I know some of them still don't show up there as well.. and my machine still will periodically crash with it..

I'm still doing CMJs, but I'm a few issues behind on making linear notes for them, and they're all over the place (in the car, in the stereo, etc) so I gotta round them up again...

Wow, that's quite an interesting list, ChuckyG - looks like you've been studying an '80s chart book lately. :-) I've been looking to add about 30-40 of those songs to my personal music collection as well (some of them for nearly a decade now). I'd estimate that about 1/3 of them have yet to appear on CD anywhere in the world; many others are only available on currently out-of-print CDs, or expensive imports. So I'd think a lot of them would be quite difficult to find in MP3 form (although I do see about a dozen that probably wouldn't be that hard)...

Off the top of my head, I know I've got the 40 or so titles from your list above in my collection already, all on pre-recorded cassette (most are the original albums from which they came). Those with a "*" next to them I also have on CD. In addition, I have the "Who Shot J.R.?" single taped from an original vinyl 45 (there was no album). Unfortunately, I don't have any of these to offer in MP3 form, but I could possibly make you a mix tape, if that would suffice... :-)
