That was WPTZ out of Plattsburgh.  ::)  They played it going up I don't know how long in the span of 2 minutes & 45 seconds. Each time they showed it, it got slower & slower.


The one on the Rutland Herald site was better I think. It showed a bit of the aftermath and the reactions of the people watching it. The link is on the thread I started about it in the 2000s.

I make deviled eggs a few times a year.  I boil the eggs for 15 minutes and then the rest comes easy to me, including separating eggs from the shell.

I was going to make a large Chocolate chip cookie dessert thingy.  Well for some reason I did not get the dough cooked.  So I had this tube of Pillsbury cookie dough, and 15 minutes to come up with something.  Made a ball of it, and stopped at the gas station and got Teddy Grahams - poured them in the ball around it.  And called it Chocolate Chip Pate.... People actually asked me for the recipe :o  I was too scared to tell them, so I tried to avoid the question (couldn't remember, and such).

I loved my pickup but was so excited for my Jeep just to have a back seat.  Now I wonder if it is too small especially now that her friends are getting bigger and it isn't as easy to squeeze three of them into the back seat. ;D

Yes, I know the feeling... My truck is a Crew Cab - but that only means 1 friend can go :P and we have 2 other trucks as well. 

The Caravan may be horrible to drive in ice and snow but it does carry a lot of kids!

I "refuse" to get another minivan.  Burbanites can have them :P  (it was a good vehicle, and never let me down; but the coolness factor - sucked - albeit a step up from the "Escort" I had before the minivan)...

I also live on low maintained, gravel roads, so something with a higher chasis (and 4wd) is very much advised.  In the spring I used to bottom out my minivan in all the potholes and ruts in the gravel road (actually broke the front moldings on the bumpers).  And with all the snow drifts and ice, and soft roads in the rainy season, 4wd is never a bad idea.

Well just got the deal on the Expedition - it is a 2008 (and my Crew Cab is also a 2008) too - it has a few more miles 45,000 to my 25,000.  And it is an extended Expedition - so it has more cargo room and easier entry to the 3rd row seating.  3rd row seating has power folding, so it all folds flat at the touch of a button.  Gas is really not too much different.  (Not something, I look at tremendously anyway, as I work 3 miles from home - gravel all the way)...  But my payment will be about $70 less - not sure about insurance, and license yet though....

but I love my truck :\'(

We are going to be test driving the expedition.... Insurance cheaper, smaller payments - but license goes from $65 to $400 a year... But with all the rest being cheaper (and it only has 35,000 not 40,000) - it looks like we may have ourselves a done deal...
