No, my shoulder has given me problems on and off since my teens.  I can't work out if my neck pain was from sleeping funny or other bedroom antics  :D. 

My hip thing was from walking up and down and up and down the hill in the snow.  For the steeper downhill sections I tend to step down with my left then bring my right leg to the left so the pressure is more on one leg than the other.
