Hardcore catch-up involves reply-with-quoting every post since one's absence. I think I'm the only person who has had the energy to do that on more than one occasion..

If some members are of the opinion that this thread is more of a risk of getting completely deleted because of the occasional 'risque' post they ought to note that mods are just about as likely to make those posts as other members are. So therefore the risk of deletion of the whole thread is no hhigher than any other general thread.

And I did mean pickle in the sense of a pickled gherkin (dill pickle what have you) rather than Branston pickle (brown pickle made of various vegetables). James loves Branston!
We love dill - and I love spicy pickled vegetables (cauliflower, carrots, onions, and such)

Steve and his brother and friend just tried to go there but it was too crowded. They just texted me from Ruby River. I stayed home to finish the tree, and they are bringing me back a steak and a sweet potato. WOO HOO!
The one here usually has a bit of a wait, but if you phone ahead they will write you onto the waiting list. If we phone just before we leave the house we only have to wait 5 minutes or so (at least the two times we've done this it has worked out like this)

and when she does - you will feel sad (this is what I tell my husband every night - our 6 year old needs us to sing her a song everynight - and she is out by the end of it)...

well she once told me that she knows she'll have to put herself to bed when she goes away to university!
I am afraid I will still get called at "bed time" to sing her a song
