I'm working on a document too, character profiles for my fanfiction "Shakunetsu Sentai Faiaranger" which means Blazing Task Force Fireranger. It's a Super Sentai fanfiction, they are a Japanese superhero show.

I wish I had the skill to draw like they do in Japanese comics... there's a certain beauty to their art...

Indeed, long live the manga-ka! (Japanese comic book artists). I haven't drawn any characters for this, but I have brainstormed towards what Japanese actors would play their characters. (Super Sentai is live action, or as they call it in Japan, tokusatsu.)

I love how Google translate has gotten to the stage where if I write tokusatsu in there and wish to translate from Japanese to English, it lets me translate from English text to Japanese kanji. Win!

Ah yes, she did "Simple And Clean" from the Kingdom Hearts soundtrack. Your lucky that your music store within 20 miles has her, my Wal-Mart only has crap like Ke$ha, Lady Gaga, and the like.

For a J-Pop singer I would recommend Yuki Kimura, and her song "Love And Joy". As for a group, BeForU are good, a great song by them is "Moonbike". They are both in Japanese.

A flat major is good. A thing about musical keys that I don't like is bands that do almost all their songs in one key. I'm looking at you, Dethklok and Theocracy.

Indeed. Let me tell you this: my musical tastes have been influenced in many different ways. My dad is into classic rock from the 70s/80s, my mom likes singer-songwriters from the 70s, and my bro introduced my to 90s alternative and thrash metal. I myself discovered power metal and J-Pop/J-Rock. Still today this is about all I listen to.

My middle-school showed it (6-9 grades). They would show movies a few times a year. They had wonderful movies for that age range like Ben (the movie about a rat), Asylum (another horror flick), & of course The Blob. (I'm sure there may have been others but those are the only ones that I remember.) I wonder who came up with those movies. I didn't go to The Blob-can't remember why-probably because I couldn't afford it. Yup-we had to pay to go see it-something like 50 cents but at the time, that was a lot for me.

this made me laugh...

some kid back in 98 got a ticket for stunt skating. We have regulations against stunt skating on campus.... anyway he failed to pay the $57 fine so it went to a warrant in the amount of $399.  Two officers went to go serve the warrant....which typically---for that amount---would result in either a cite....or a trip to the sheriff's office for the kid to pay the amount... more than likely he'd just have gotten a citation.... dumbass opens
his big mouth and tells the officers that he "doesn't have time to take care of the bail amount right now...." those are trigger words so instead of getting away on his promise to appear dumbass winds up taking a trip to jail.  ;D

It's not on a 'mainstream' television channel so most will not have heard of it.
