Yes, I am allergic to all those. If I eat them, I get stomach issues and a headache for 2 to 3 days. No trips to the hospital or anything serious like that.
Allergic to spinach, but I can eat beets,, I can have carrots in moderation. Broccoli, lettuce, celery, green peppers, asparagus are all OK.

yeah...  but that marinade sounds tasty... I've never had it...  well I guess i have  since I've had jerk chicken but you know.. I've never had it on pork and I've never seen it in the store.

the marinade was tasty... but my carribean jerk marinade (that I make, is much better)... This was one of those 30 minute marinades, but they just never give a strong flavor - just a hint.... I wanted more.  Time for apple crisp

Grilling was almost a catastrophe...  Hubby went out to grill (yay me).  Grill turned on, let it warm up.  He put the pork chops on, it went poof and no more flame (all out of propane), he grabbed the spare - empty, took a tank out of the camper - empty, took the last tank out of the camper - it had a little....  This is very fortunate - I was looking forward to grilled steak, and I had to settle for pork chops, and I did not want to have to settle for no grill too...

Oh boy, got yet another Jury Summons, this time for the middle of November. I could have sworn I filled out January 2011 last time, since that was around the time they sent the last one.

oooh you make your own jerk marinade? is it easy?  how do you do it? well that you should tell me in a pm if you tell me here I'll lose the post...

It is not hard, if you have a food processor it can be even easier (because you just throw everything in there instead of all the chopping).  It has lots of onions, garlic, and Hot peppers to chop (recipe initially called for scotch bonnets, but I have used habaneros,or even jalapenos).  With food processor, you just throw them in whole...  just make sure you don't splat the stuff in your eye... (peppers will burn).  I have used molasses in place of brown sugar, pineapple juice in place of orange...  It always comes out good!  It makes a lot (I would suggest you buy pork chops or chicken), put them in individual bags with marinade and freeze them; as they thaw they will marinate and be nice and flavorful!  I have done this when we go camping. Freeze a bag of stuff in the bag, and then let it thaw...  You decide, I can send you the recipe.

I have lots of rave reviews of above recipe, but probably just as many from this one as well...  AND you can do this in your limited kitchen
