The other night there was a serious issue with the server. Someone (no names ;) ;D ) was sorting a board, and others were accessing 2 of our more longer threads. I tracked the errors and was surprised to find that the longer threads are actually having an impact on the server. (Although to what degree, I do not know.)


So in order to alleviate some of the stress, instead of us live blogging movies in the LTE, we can have a thread specifically created to do so. That way, for those looking at numbers, the posts will still count, and for those who just want to enjoy the live blogging, they can.


And yes, I realize this thread is not 6 months old etc. etc. but I wanted to put it here so that guests cannot access it and slow the server as well. (I am sure that this thread might just be huge here in a short while.)
