indeed, there are some good memories & thank goodness some of us survived that excessive decadance  :D  it was a unique time and the partying was non stop.  that actually explains a whole lot as to why i am the way I am, and probably you too Frank  ;D

Actually, I was the ripe old age of 19. Plenty of opportunity before this except I was too dumb to know when a girl was interested. Luckily, the 70's lack of boundaries  stretched through the entire decade.....and I manged to hit my straps later!  ::)

I was 17. He was 27.  :o :o :o  What can I say. I always went for older men.  ;)  This guy was gorgeous. He was a cross between Richard Gere & Rick Springfield-the kind of man that every woman wants but never had. I can say I had him. Even at that young age, I knew it wasn't going to last. We were from different worlds. (In fact, that song totally reminds of him for a few reasons which I won't go into. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uenud_vexZA ) He was a fantasy that came true for a while (about 6 months or so).


The first time was almost a scene out of a comedy of errors. Interrupted by the phone THREE times, also interrupted because we needed to get protection. It was pretty funny in retrospect.

Okay, good, everyone's opening up.  I was worried I might have been pushing the envelope with this thread.

I can relate to some of these like the phone interrupting, although not my first time.  One time a guy actually rang the doorbell and I had to hide in the bedroom while the lady put her clothes together as quick as she could and answered it.  And once at a party at least five people walked in.  We were both high, and I was told I was wearing a rubber Halloween mask.

My first time (and several times after) were in the middle of unsettled woods, around 50 degrees in early March.  I came home with bugbites and rashes every weekend until I got a car.  ;D  I also had a would-be first time experience.  I had been dating the girl for a couple months and we walked to the woods where I figured we'd just make out and leave as usual.  Then she mentioned she had been thinking about something and she pulled out a condom and said it was my decision.  Of course I said yes, but all the food I had just eaten and the scares from the sounds of random people got in the way.  I left those woods a virgin, and as any other guy would, I kicked myself over it.  ;D

Those were some good parties.  :D  I think we could write a book on the stuff that went on in the 70's. Lotsa fun too. As long as we don't use names. If I were old enough in the late 60's to attend that kind of party, I think some neat stuff went on there too.

So, the following Monday at school after my Saturday nite "first time", I went to the cafeteria to get some chili beans and french bread for lunch. heck, it only cost a quarter and it was pretty good, and guess who's working as a server  :o  dear sweet Helen, and she smiled at me, she was really nice, but it was awkward. She gave me my food, we talked a bit, she told me she has a boyfriend  :o  :o  I am not sure if she thought I wanted or expected her to be my new girlfriend...anyways I wasn't very good at relationships so the one night stand was fine. turns out I knew her boyfriend, an older guy from a dysfunctionally insane family. all 3 brothers were pretty much small time criminals & drug dealers. I partied with them many times. I sure hope she did better and ended up with a good guy.

What can I say?  Alcohol is a bitch.

What's interesting is that there are people here having their first time that were born when my peers where having their's. It's also kinda embarrassing that there are teenagers who are reaching adulthood before I and thus are my superiors.
