This is your last chance. After this, there is no turning back. You take the blue pill - the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill - you click the next five links and I show you just how deep the rabbit-hole goes.

http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_luzr7vTzRD1r692m1o1_500.png

Links go to segments 1-5 of Guys and Dolls, a 1-hour BBC documentary: Safe for BBC, but probably not safe for work, and definitely not safe for sanity.

Or you could just take the blue pill.  But you won't.  (It's OK.  Neither did I.)

Oh, no.  You don't want to do that.  If you try to take both pills, the Matrix gets all glitchy.

Back to something safe and comforting, like Barbie dolls.

The demented genius behind this photography is Mariel Clayton (who clearly took both the red pill and the blue pill), she's been gracious to share her art with much of the blogosphere, and these are some of the tame ones.

At 12000 posts and counting, it's day three of LP400, and assuming 50 posts per page, it's got ponies in the 10s, Zooey Deschanel in the 30s, black-and-white movies in the 80s, retro video games on page 105.  It's mostly wrapped back around to silver screen fans (and ponies) by the mid-250s.  And I've skipped over some gigantic buckets-o-WTF in between.

In the meantime, have some cake.

i suppose it could be. it depends what kind of relationship they have and what sort of people they are. maybe she's someone who just congenitally worries about whether her SO's really love her, and then with something like this, you'd want to say it in no uncertain terms. out loud would be the better option, plainly, but maybe he did that too. it's not really my area of expertise but i've read a lot of women feel guilt when they miscarry, it's not really rational but understandable. and then that part wouldn't be, "I know you weren't up to carrying my child to term but i've decided to be merciful and continue to love you even though your weakness is disappointing to me," it's, "I know you so I know you're blaming yourself even though you shouldn't and doubting yourself, but you have no need to; I'm still here."

the fact that it's completely out of context makes it hard to draw definite conclusions but my first reaction was that it made me sad and i guess my thought is, if the cake-purchaser (!) was with her long enough and committedly enough for them to try and have a child together, then hopefully they knew each other long enough that he was all, of course a miscarriage cake would look strange to an outsider but would be just the thing my GF/wife would want. maybe she's a baker herself. i dunno.

then again, maybe the hubby's an insensitive douchebag. in which case he sent that message unequivocably with his douchecake. and that would still kinda make it a win-win. She'd be like, thank god i didn't have a kid with this jerk.

A "Sorry about your miscarriage" card.

http://wishfulfillmenteveryday.blogspot.com/2011/11/sorry-about-your-miscarriage-heres-some.html

He said that I seemed to have "expelled everything nicely," (gee thanks, I try) and that I should start to feel normal in 2-4 more weeks. Say what, now? Why so long? Told me that my next period would suck. I told him they said that before, when my HCG was falling, and I only bled for two days. He said that wasn't a period, just a miscarriage. Well, dude...I'm only going by what the other freaking doctor told me OKAY. So apparently, my next NEXT period, in 2-4 weeks, will suck, and then I'll be normal. And then he gave me Advil.

Sorry about your miscarriage, here's some Advil.

It's probably wrong that I found that part to be funny, but dang. How about, sorry about your miscarriage, here's some Ben and flippin' Jerry's. Or sorry about your miscarriage, have a gift card to the Gap on us.

Take note, OB/GYN's: the recently miscarried want rooms that are not filled to the celing with smiling baby faces, and they'd like Gap gift cards in lieu of medication, please. In fact, when you're walking into the smiling baby face-less room to tell someone she's having a miscarriage, just go ahead and come in armed with a peppermint mocha in one hand and Phish Food in the other. Seriously. I'm not kidding. I'm kind of mad that I'm even having to tell you this.

I like the Ben and Jerry's idea myself, although it's no custom cake or anything.

that appears to be an inflatable, and inflated, sex doll, Howard, impaled through the crotch by a railroad crossing arm. There's a minute chance it might be a crash test dummy, however.

I applaud your exhaustive attempt to outline all possible hypotheses, however improbable.

But just for once, can't we look at an image for what it is and not imagine a 60-Hz sine wave in brightness that illuminates the subject such that two peaks (out of eight) in image fidelity (corresponding to two 60Hz peaks of brightness in local illumination) don't indicate an exposure time of 1/8 (as in 8/64ths) of a second?

Yeah, me neither.

what signature?

Even when it's a picture I call it a signature for some reason.

I think he means the picture at the bottom of your posts...it says "This image or video has been deleted."

That.

Possibly because that's the term used for pictures/text/anything below one's post.

I've had to adjust mine over the years whenever the dolphins failed to move or even show up.

well these block heads have a whole Lego album for themselves now and like I said somewhere, I moved the other one of my live videos from the past over there.  Nothing new right now and actually I'm just starting to get you to visiting my site without signing in, making it more user friendly for other people because finding things is harder.
