Thats really cool. My grandson smacked his head into Eric Clapton at JFK this past winter. He was chatting on his cell and my daughter who had the baby in a carrier walked right into him. He said Oh I'm so sorry, and it wasn't even his fault. We walked away and I said "Kat thta guy looks like Clapton, she said Mom it was. So I turned around again to discreetly check him out, yep it was him. But we allowed him his privacy and didn't ask for pics or autographs. At a place like JFK that could be disastrous.
Have you ever visited NYC?

He was certainly living in New York around 15 to 20 years ago.
Yes I know, I don't think I would want to live there after the tragedy he endured.
Yoko either but she still does.

She still lives at The Dakota in the flat where she and John lived. My daughter and I went there about 8 years ago. There is a small park of Central Park called Strawberry Fields donated by her in Johns memory. We scattered some of my exs ashes there. Then we walked up to the passage where John was murdered and cried. I will find the pics we took and post them for you.

I would think that Julian Lennon is old enough to live on his own.

I like Julian Lennon's music "Valotte" and "Much Too Late For Goodbyes".

I see 'Much too late for goodbyes' ... got a mention. At the time, I found it a bit cheesy / so-so ..... but must admit, .... last time I heard it through a semi-surround sound system I've rigged up ....... it sounded quite pleasing !
Nevertheless .......... I agree with you on 'Saltwater'............. for me ... a song that once I'd seen it's beauty / message ........... became VERY touching / moving ........... a song of great maturity, where he became someone worthy of consideration. ( Lyrics aside, the melody IS lovely. )
Now, with global warming, widely acknowledged ........... this song, from '91 ............ is even MORE relevant !
:-X

It has been somewhile I heard "Salt Water", it deserves a re-listen and I do not have my CD of it any more.
On hearing 'Much too late for goodbyes' I thought he sounded just like his father, but he soon disappeared for the pop music scene.

Julian is very good in concert, I saw him when he was on tour many years ago. It was unusual though, he had a juggler as his opening act. He was very good, but not what the crowd was wanting unfortunately.

For Melinka - Julian Lennon lives in France. I believe he won a settlement on his Father's will c.US$30M - isn't it nice to have to fight your stepmum over something that is clearly yours. Poor old Seanie, the apple of Yoko's eyes, has inherited her awful musical prowess - has anyone seen The Rolling Stones' Rock and Roll Circus from '68 - she absolutely stinks. What was John thinking of....?
Someone mentioned Zak Starkey plays with Oasis - he's with The Who at the moment. I think he was only temporary with Oasis. He's a fabulous drummer and was taught by the great Keith Moon whose shoes he now fills - very well I might add. He has that tornado style that made Moon the Loon so awesome to listen to

I remember Sean having a girlfriend.
According to IMDB.com, it's listed here:
Living (and playing bass) with Yuka Honda of the band Cibo Matto (That's just a little outdated)
Dated Bijou Phillips.
Dated Elizabeth Jagger (Mick Jagger's daughter) for a short time in 2004
Sean Lennon's girlfriend Irina Lazareanu is a model, a close friend of Kate Moss, former drummer of Pete Doherty's band Babyshambles and Karl Lagerfeld's muse in 2007.

Martha Wainright?
Saw this on Wiki...so, she is not the girlfriend of either Lennon boy.
Martha Wainwright married her producer Brad Albetta in September 2007.
