This is the thread where we can ask about valid members who haven't been around for a while, and if we have heard from them outside of the boards, we can post to keep each other informed. Please, no slamming of past members, no matter how they left the boards. Posts of that type will automatically be removed.

On similar lines at a club I belong to, over the last few years, a couple of older members just did not turn up and sit in their usual seats. We would enquire at the Membership Desk, but due to the Data Protection Act not much could be said there. As for finances direct debits for the membership, it would close due to the bank account being shutdown. I have since prove the older members have died by checking the records in the Death files at the Family History Centre.

I will, but he wasn't online much as a poster, and didn't get to know many members, but he did visit the arcade, which is sort of the line of work he is in. We talked on the phone for about a 1/2 hour last night, each bragging to one another about our weekly softball accomplishments or if we didn't do good, our suckiness ;D he's a good guy

It ought to be noted that "so and so", "what's his/her face" and such acronyms are just other ways of referring to people you either (1) don't know their name offhand, or (2), could be talking about anyone in general.
For this thread it applies to the latter. It just means "anyone", like whichever specific person we happen to be talking about at the time.
When people were saying "who's so and so", it was a joke. ;)

I remember So&So. He is married to What's Her Name and they have a kid named You Know Who. Last I heard was So&So was doing so so. He really likes to sew, so he got a job as a sewer. What's Her Name became a panelist on What's My Line. She likes old commercials for Where's the Beef and her favourite song is Who's That Girl :D

I'm going to contact the alumni association here (I happen to work at the uni Taoist attended) and see if they have any contact details for him. It could be tricky because I'm not sure the exact year he graduated asnd his name is not unusual!

I work full time, am carrying a 17 credit hour load at college, baseball, football, producing an album and doing a little work for the Newspaper I used to work for.
Most days are about 15 packed hours nowadays.. and I like to get a little sleep in here and there. ;)

Going back to school...yes, I seem to remember she was doing some sort of studies. Hey, I'll be going back to school the end of this week. They're starting the fall semester @ CSUN this Thursday, rather than on the traditional Monday, for some oddball reason.
