The usual:

Phase 1 -- 7:15, radio alarm on NPR.  Konk that out.

Eh, I don't want to get out of bed just yet, think I'll watch a little "Washington Journal."

Phase 2 -- 9:00,  J.M. Molter: Concerto for Trumpet, No. 2, theme for "Washington Journal."

And I open my eyes to Steve Scully sitting next to some political hack and some hillbilly caller screaming at them about communism.

Mine was my hubby's dentist to remind me of an appointment on Friday (but not for the teeth that are hurting him, they are scheduled to work on the other side of his mouth.)  Hopefully they can address the side that is giving my hubby the most pain right now.

And I didn't actually make it to the phone in time to answer since it rang twice and went to voice mail, but it woke me up anyways.  :\'(

Yeah, they do. Electra comes up and curls up next to me if the food dish is low/empty and Elvira likes to come up to me after Carlos gets out of bed to say good morning, and lays on my head.  ::) And the thing is, they are like a tag team-one day it will be one and then the next day the other.

"Who's turn is it to wake her up this morning?"
"I think it is yours"
"I woke her up yesterday. I think it is your turn"
"You sure? Ok, I'll do it."

More like a tag team. First Carlos got out of bed (which I was unaware of because I was really out like a light), the cat came up and curled up on my head purring away. After Carlos came back to bed, she went away and I fell back asleep. Then he woke me up  ;) . After, I fell back asleep again until he got out of bed and the cat came back. But Carlos getting out bed the second time woke me so the cat didn't really wake me up the second time.

A Blue Jay sitting in a tree outside my window.  All this bird does is make noise at 6am in the friggin' morning

I'm not a violent man, but it;s lucky for that bird that I don't own a pellet gun lol

Well, I had my alarm set to go off at 7 this morning, and it went off and woke me up... but I went back to sleep and slept for another hour.

Not this morning but yesterday morning:

First: 2:00 a.m. the phone rings. The phone didn't wake me up but Carlos getting out of bed to answer it did. By the time he got there (only 3 rings), he got a dial-tone. Then I had a hard time falling back asleep.

Second: About 6:30 a.m. my neighbor yelling "Mother f**ker." Carlos said that she said something about toilet paper after that but I didn't hear that.

Third: About 7-7:30 a.m. the neighbors leave and their dog starts to wail because he doesn't like to be left alone. By that time I figured there is no sense in trying to go back to sleep (since the dog kept wailing for several hours), I got up.

A sharp pain in my right shoulder.  :(

Sorry to hear that.

As for me, my neighbor yelling/calling to someone-I think it was the dog. Man, she has the most annoying voice.

The cat informing me that the food dish is empty. I would much rather have her wake me up than my neighbor's annoying voice.

The sound of my neighbor's silly cat hurling himself against the side of my house. I don't know why the little thing does that. LOL.

This is why I'm a dog person.  ;)

I love all animals!
