Yeah, since he retired, he founded the Sundance Film Festival, Sundance Institute, Sundance Cinemas, Sundance Catalog, and the Sundance Channel, all in and around Park City, Utah, just north of the Sundance ski area, which he also owns.  And he's directed movies all along even though he doesn't star in as many...Oh yeah, he also owns a restraunt in Park City called Zoom. He's also very politically minded as well, he's a major environmentalist and is a trustee of the Natural Resources Defense Council.

Levin's first novel, A Kiss Before Dying, was well received, earning him the 1954 Edgar Award for Best First Novel. A Kiss Before Dying was turned into a movie twice, first in 1956, and again in 1991.
