July 22nd: Pi Approximation Day

Pi Day and Pi Approximation Day are two unofficial holidays held to celebrate the mathematical constant π (pi). Pi Day is celebrated on March 14, or in the month/day date format as 3/14; since 3, 1 and 4 are the first three decimal digits of π. March 14 is also the birthday of Albert Einstein and the two events are sometimes celebrated together. On the other hand, Pi Approximation Day is held on July 22, or in the day/month date format as 22/7, which is an approximate value of π.

But 22 over 7 is not a good approximation for Pi, since the first three decimal places are 3.142, whereas those for Pi are 3.141; and the further decimal places of 22 ÷ 7 deviate greatly from those of Pi. I suppose it might not be so bad for working with small numbers.

A day of Atonement.
Day of Atonement, is one of the holiest days of the year for Jews. Its central themes are atonement and repentance. Jews traditionally observe this holy day with a 25-hour period of fasting and intensive prayer, often spending most of the day in synagogue services. Yom Kippur completes the annual period known in Judaism as the High Holy Days (or sometimes "the Days of Awe"). Children under the age of 13 are not required to fast from sundown to sundown.

Formula for conversion?

From Fahrenheit to Celsius: 5(F-32)/9
From Celsius to Fahrenheit: 9C/5+32  (or essentially, 1.8C+32)

So yes, 32 degrees Celsius would be roughly 90 Fahrenheit.
