Yes. Don't know why it's done on this specific day though... :-\\ I mean, St Martin was a good man, but there are literally hundreds of other saints that are/were equally good.

Anyway, there have been no children at my door. In fact I haven't seen any kids at all on the streets...Must be due to the bad weather (it's stormy and raining - no fun in walking around trying to keep your light burning!).

Do you have any white goods.. maybe a tumble dryer or an old refridgeration unit, I find they add to the neighborhood. Oh by the way, thanks for the spare tyre from that Nova, it smelt great when it burnt and the smoke was as black as could be.

I was talking about Top 3 most valuable players on his team.  I think Mauer and Santana rank higher than him.

Subject: Re: Today is...

Written By: Rice_Cube on 11/21/06 at 3:27 pm

Mauer had the batting average but the HR and run production department were clearly decided by Morneau, Torii Hunter and Cuddyer.  I think that point isn't too relevant though considering that Ichiro won MVP in his rookie season just because he got on a base a lot.  Mauer and Morneau's OPS were essentially the same as well.

Hard to argue.  Not to mention that Santana got the Cy Young award and voters frown on giving the MVP to a pitcher even if they deserve it.  Jeter was an excellent player and got on base a lot, but I think Morneau's numbers overshadowed that.

*shrug*

She has a point though, Morneau might not have as many RBIs and chances if Mauer didn't get on base as he did.  It's the little things that count eh ;)

If Ortiz had gotten those numbers AND played first base, he'd have been a shoo-in for me.
