It was certainly a 'nail biter' .... and the come-back was a good effort. I would've loved to have seen Stuart Clark .... the last man .... have a few belts at it .... but he never got to face a ball. If Stuart connects ... they often stay hit ... VERY hit .... like a bunch of 6's. We'll never know.

Ponting gave his men a 'bollocking' a few nights back ... yet as Captain ... his batting performance was hardly inspiring ........

I don't care whether my team loses .... I just want the decisions to be right ..... so ... if technology can verify that ... I'm all for it, even if the momentum etc; get's taken away a little / opposition has time to calm themselves, whatever.

Not certain on this one. I like the decisions to be fair and correct and because of the media coverage everyone knows when it's wrong (and that's what is ruining the game). As long as there are 50 TV camera's with all those close ups we will head down the replay track because it HAS to be right. In addition with all the money involved it is becoming really big business (look at the upcoming Indian IPL tournament).

I believe the 'old' days were better when the umpire ruled and nobody knew any better. The batsmen walked and there was honour in trhe game. I fear that has gone forever........

I generally try to stick to wine/beer/cider .... believing the less concentrated / more watery /larger volume drinks ... will mean I do less damage to my brain/liver etc .... since you're more likely to get full in the stomach, and thus consume less alcohol ? Probably incorrect  :-\\


Having a few whiskys on top of a load of beer ... for me, that's asking for a blackout (I've had 5-10 of these in my time ....).  :-[

I was told to print the work out and read it as a hard copy, for some mistakes which have been missed reading on screen will be noticed.

I don't really know the answer, Al, though whiskey on top of beer is asking for trouble. I had one blackout a couple of years ago (2 double aftershocks after a day of drinking beer  ::)). It was a very scary experience and haven't repeated the action since.

The first problem only took a few minutes to solve?

Very silly me telling others of my low post count....it reached 4,000 a few minutes ago and it was a milestone for me. :-\\, even if low.

about 20 minutes, previous co-worker was performing some "guesswork" testing whereas I prefer to be more exact when isolating trouble and thus narrow things down and was successful whuich results in a satisfied customer  :)

Anyway, my  Spyware detectors detected it to be a phishing site which means if I did put any personal information in there, instead of preventing fraud I would make it easier for them to rob me of my money.
