Went to the bookstore, we were there about 15 minutes before opening and was about the 60th person in line.  Got a $5 coupon and a kind of cheap looking vinyl tote emblazened with the bookstore logo.  But hey it was free.  lol  I bought my Christmas cards and a book for my husband.

Yeah its easier to walk a blind dog in the middle of the night... hardly any traffic.  there are no sidewalks in my neighborhood so we walk in the middle of the street... I can't trust her to react the way I want her to like I did before so I go when its best for her.

Its cool tho cuz I live in a quiet & safe hood.... and its Cali so its nippy but not freezing.

got it..... my tv is always on so I rarely experience silence... power outages freak me out. I don;t like to be alone with my thoughts. I keep my laptop and portable dvd player and video ipod constantly charged so I never have to be alone in a quiet dark room.

a tv is almost always on here, but the silence is so different, because there is always some kind of noise or sound. in a weird way, I kinda like it. but then I also like my rock music blasting in my ear as loud as I can so it balances out.

Oh yes. If I went right now the trains would be busy with the rush hour, I could walk it in half an hour, but I do not want to walk there and back, and for the return journey, it always seems be waiting ages for the train at theh station

that's how my trip to work is every morning. I go after the rush and it's a smooth easy cruise.
