I have often wished to visit London. If I ever travel outside the U.S. that would be one place I'd be interested in seeing.

2004 did see me in work, but I was also on a home university course, and spending time at the computer with that course, and I did need a distraction.

I found this site almost a decade ago (that is, the old version of the board), from Amiright (a site that I have visited regularly for 11 1/2 years)!

Looking back the board was primitive to today's standards and it closed every night at 10pm.

The old version of this board was also primitive to today's standards and it lasted but 2 1/2 years altogether. There'd been system issues as well.

I enjoyed my previous board, it did teach me the ways of being online, and one thing I remember was the fun of trying to be the last to post a reply before closure at 10pm.

It probably is. It takes up a large geographical area (from what I've seen on maps), but I'm sure it does have quiet areas.
In Los Angeles, the largest park is Griffith Park, which is more than just a park. It contains a golf course, an observatory, a train museum, and is also home to the Los Angeles Zoo.

That's bigger than Los Angeles, which has had a population in the 3 millions, but if you include the greater L.A. area, it's a lot more.

We back up everything up for the same reason, important items saved up to four times on different machines.

Right! So you can restore your lost files.
I'm glad I invested in a flash disk five years ago; that is the perfect tool to store lots of files. However, I regret not saving a series of pictures I found on the internet in November 2006 of the dance party that I went to. After a couple of months, the pictures were taken down from the server.

On the history list, it would show all the URL's you visited, as well as how many times you visited them. I try not to visit bad sites at all; those could harm your computer. One such site might've done that to mine back in May.

In that case, the thing to do would be to run a scan on your computer. You do have an antivirus program, right? And a firewall too, I hope?
