When the boards are fast, it is a good day for me.

Me too! I can efficiently make posts.

When the boards are slow,it starts up.

Then there can't be much activity here... :-\\

I watch tv then.

Sometimes I go to Youtube and look for classic moments from tv shows... such as game show gaffes, "Whose Line" moments, or something to get me in a good mood.

I agree.

But now Drew Carey has gone on to host "The Price Is Right" (succeeding Bob Barker after 35 years as host), and Wayne Brady has gone on to host the newest version of "Let's Make A Deal", which premiered last year on CBS. So both men have gone on to host game shows on the same network.

Good to hear that they have continued to be in the broadcasting industry.

And they've even appeared together on a few episodes of "Let's Make A Deal", when Carey has been asked to make a guest appearance. Likewise, I think Brady has guest-appeared on the Showcase portion of "Price Is Right" a couple times. Talk about reuniting!

There's also the Two-Line Vocabulary, in which three performers participate; two of the performers each given only two sentences to say, and the third performer is free to say anything.

In this one:
Brad - "That's easy for you to say."/"Is that good?"
Ryan - "What are those?"/"I'm sorry, I wasn't listening."

We see so many of them listed on the Who's Online list, allegedly posting a new thread in a certain area, but it never comes through. I wonder if Chucky or any of the mods knows why that happens??

I remember those; they were really popular about a decade or so ago.

What you had to do was look at the screen and follow the sequence of arrows by stepping on the corresponding dance pads in the correct order, exactly as the arrows were crossing the line on the screen.

You were lucky to have an arcade that close. The nearest (good) arcade to me is about a 2 hour drive! But it's got a DDR machine and several other good games, like Skee-Ball (roll the balls into the holes to score tickets) and some old pinball machines. My bro told me they used to have the original Donkey Kong, but I didn't see it.

Oh yes, I remember Skee-ball. When I was little I played it at Chuck-e-Cheese. Later in my life I played it at a video arcade in a shopping mall and would score lots of tickets, which I would redeem for silly prizes.

I used to stink at first, failing to get above the bottom hole, but there is a way to get the ball into one of the higher-valued holes. I think you gotta give it some momentum.

Yes, but not too hard or it'll come back down the ramp and you'll have to try it again, or it might go into the "nothing" slot (under the top of the ramp).

How about applying spin onto the ball?

May or may not work. Skilled players tend to roll the ball with more momentum and make sure they are headed straight for the holes, so that the ball has enough momentum to make it to the higher numbers.

Traditionally, there are five holes (in increments of 10 points from 10 through 50, as seen in the above photo), but the 100's on the top left and right sides (such as this one) didn't appear until recent times (maybe 15 or 20 years or so ago when I saw them).

I'm homeschooled, and we get a week in the fall, a Summer Break through the end of June to the beginning of August, and usually from Thanksgiving to the day after New Years. And Spring Break, which is a week somewhere in spring.

Ah...I see. For me, spring break has usually been Holy Week (the week before Easter, which varies from year to year, depending on the first full moon after vernal equinox).

It's a nice variety. I like a variety.

I don't often like to listen to country unless it crosses over into pop. One time in early 2008 I decided to listen to a particular country song, because I came across a misheard lyric for it on Amiright, and I wanted to see if the line sounded like the misheard version...sure enough it seemed to.

He starred in "Three's Company", an American sitcom that was on during the late 70's and early 80's.

Later in his life, he starred in the sitcom "Eight Simple Rules", which he was filming just before he unexpectedly died. That show continued after his passing; they incorporated his death into the storyline of that show (altho I never watched it).
