Even slower today, due to the system snag that apparently made this site unavailable for a good chunk of the day.

Between the timestamps on two consecutive posts (7:10 AM and 5:09 PM , both Pacific time), a whopping ten hours, I couldn't go online at all, so I didn't miss anything. When the first one was made (7:10a), I was on the train, on my way to work, just leaving the Northridge station. When the next one was made (5:09p), I was on the train, on my way home from work, just leaving the Chatsworth station, about to head into a series of tunnels in the Santa Susana mountains.
