The rules for Cow Tipping?

1)  Sleeping Dairy Cows are easier to tip than any other.

2)  Wear Protective Clothing ie Rainsuits as poop may or may not be sprayed on you as you tip.

3)  Try to involve a Farmer who actually owns Dairy Cows - If a Farmer Catches you tipping his cows he will put a cap in your butt.  see #2

4)  Never attempt cow tipping without an experienced cow handler present.

5)  Be prepared to run - cows can become aggressive, in the dark.

Here's some interesting music trivia:

Did you know that Elton John's Candle in the Wind '97 was the most successful Chartwise here in Canada?  It was #1 for 45 consecutive weeks and was in the top 20 for three consecutive years.

This is not uncommon.  In Canada, CD Singles are rare and not many copies are shipped to CD stores, so in some weeks, a song can chart quite high based on less than 100 copies sold across Canada

Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia is one of my favourite words, if I can remember how to spell it. I have used in Word Games in the PBG.

http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia
Interesting blurg on Hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia

Speaking of long names, the longest place name in the U.S. is right here in Massachusetts:
Lake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg (45 letters)
The name is reputed to mean:
"You Fish on Your Side, I Fish on My Side, Nobody Fish in the Middle".
But scholars of the Nipmuck language say the name means approximately:
"Englishmen at Manchaug territory at the meeting and fishing place at the boundary"
The name Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg itself compounds two or more of the earlier, shorter indigenous names for the lake.
The name for practical purposes was shortened to Lake Chaubunagungamaug, still a mouthful, and so later was renamed "Webster Lake."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Chaubunagungamaug

Of course, New Zealand has us beaten for longest place name in an English-speaking country, at 85 letters, a hill called:
'Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateaturipukakapikimaungahoronukupokaiwhenuakitanatahu'
But the real real length of the word is in dispute, as is L ake Chargoggagoggmanchauggagoggchaubunagungamaugg
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateapokaiwhenuakitanatahu
Then there is the ceremonial name for Bangkok, which I will only link to at Wiki:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bangkok#Full_name

DYK that babies are born with 300 bones, but by adulthood we have   only 206 in our bodies.

But these are really parts of the same 206 bones in development.  Many bones that appear to be one or more bones fuse into one bone in early childhood.

Speaking of bones:

An adult human has 206 bones.
An adult domestic cat has 230 bones.

The certifications depend on where you come from. You might know this already, but Platinum in America means you shifted 1,000,000 albums or singles. But Platinum in some countries means that they shifted only 100,000.

I'm not totally sure. When they say "You're certified Platinum", what I THINK they mean is that you have shifted 1 million records to the stores.

It is impossible to sneeze and keep one’s eyes open at the same time.

Due to the pressure in your cranium your eyes would be pressurized slightly. There would be a slight bulging of your eyes from your head which is actually what happens normally when you sneeze, however your eyes would stay in just as they normally do. The closing of your eyes is just to maintain some extra support to keep the muscles and nerves which hold your eyes in from having to do as much work.

Without the eyelid, the many eye muscles and optical nerve would do a fine job keeping the eyes in.

If you've seen Ripley's or Guinness Book of World Records, and you've seen the people that push their eyes out of their heads really far, you'd realize that you dont have to worry because your eyes can handle a lot.

I don't think The Lunar Effect has anything to do with the weather.
The gravity of our moon is a major factor in our weather that all weather models I know of are overlooking. Whenever the lunar perigee is within 2 or 3 days of new moon or full moon, that tugs the atmosphere that is close to the north and south poles and pulls it closer to the equator. This strengthens the jet stream and causes our weather to be more severe and to turn cold for a few days afterward. This is very predictable if you know when to look for it.

The CD was developed by Philips and Sony in 1980
Also, it was said that Beethoven's Ninth Symphony is to have influenced the development of the compact disc. Philips, the company that had started the work on the new audio format, originally planned for a CD to have a diameter of 11.5 cm, the width of the then popular compact cassette, while Sony planned a 10 cm diameter, even more compact but enough for one hour of music. However, according to a Philips website, Norio Ohga insisted in 1979 that the CD be able to contain a complete performance of the Ninth Symphony:

The longest known performance lasted 74 minutes. This was a mono recording made during the Bayreuther Festspiele in 1951 and conducted by Wilhelm Furtwängler. This therefore became the playing time of a CD. A diameter of 12 centimeters was required for this playing time.
