We have no mail delivered on a Sunday.
Neither do we. The same goes for national holidays, regardless of what day of the week they fall on (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas, etc).

Yesterday I got a letter from the union with details of the Higher Education Sector Conference that I had totally forgotten I was going to. Now to tell hubby!
We also received a letter from the Education Authority saying that our son had got into the primary school we chose! :)

Do you have the urge to spend? To be safe do not, keep it in case a reason becomes known and you do have to pay it back.

It's not a lot of money so I don't think they'll notice it. I get paid an honorarium and it might be that. If I look back through my statements I could check if the amount fits, it's just more than I remembered it being.

Got a letter from the V.A. saying they are upping my disability from 70% to 100%. :o :o :o So, I guess that means that it is offical-I am blind. :\'( But the good news is that it means more $$$ a month-plus the back pay from April. ;D

We got two CDs with pictures on them from my sister-in-law's recient trips. One to Australia and the other to the British Virgin Islands. We only looked at the one from BVI so far. It was her and 5 cousins on one of the cousin's boat. They all looked like they had a GREAT time. We will probably look at the other pics later today.

Yesterday we got a brochure addressed to someone who used to live in our house. That is to say it was addressed to the wife of the man we bought the house from. Except she passed away about 10 years ago. I posted it back this afternoon giving that as a reason for them to remove her name from the mailing list

Got a mail from work --- with a statement of approval of a contract between me and work.... well i am gonna earn 4 times more than what i earn now ....and also at the same time..share 40% of the Profit... ;) thats the only mail i received...saying so ...with the bank statement..and the stamp papers....

Advertisements from local stores that announce they will be open the day after Thanksgiving (last Thursday), I wonder why I got them in the mail today since it already passed.
A postcard telling me I can qualify for a mortgage for a house and stop paying my landlord's mortgage (my rent). Not with the condition of my credit history. :-[

A christmas card from my cousin and her husband
Also another christmas card and an "assignment" from a lady that my mom goes to church with. ;D She wrote to me to ask me to write a note to my mom but send it to the lady from church. She wants to include it in a gift to my mom. She wants it back by December 15th. So I have to think of something to write to my mom, something all sentimental so it'll be a nice gift. I'm not especially skilled at letter composition, especially of the mushy kind, so any and all suggestions are welcomed. :-[ I'm kinda feeling a little blah today, so I don't know what to write other then I appreciate that she tried to raise me as best as she could, even though we don't really have alot in common. But I need to keep it positive so I probably won't even put in the not alot in common part.
