Making a Milky Way bouquet!
A great gal I work with is getting ready to go on maternity leave and then after that she begins training for another job.  So tomorrow we're having yet another potluck luncheon and giving her gifts.  Just for fun, though I'm also making a bouquet of flowers out of those little fun size Milky Way bars, because she loves 'em.  Matthew and I are using straws for the stems and cutting out flowers from colored paper to put the bars on, then we put them in a vase.  They're so cute, I just hope I don't eat it before I get to work!

Oh, and laundry....

Well I have one of three things I could be doing:

1--Putting away the clothes I just bought. (the bags are still in my bedroom  ::) )

2--Putting together the gift bag I bought for my cousin's baby shower.

3--Watching the dvds about dialysis I got from a friend. LOL.

Yeah.. its this new schedule... I cannot get a regular sleep pattern going... on Tues I worked 1200-2200 instead of my regular 1700-0300 but I wound up going to sleep at 0430 but had be up at 0630.

And on my days off I stay up all night too... it sucks.

Actually this is my career and will be ready to retire in a couple of years and can't wait!  The thing about construction is that the money and benefits are too good to pass up once you are in.  I get a great paycheck, pension, health and dental, and mutual funds, which is why I should be all set to retire in a couple of years.  Most people I know don't have this.

We decided to get up early to watch Endeavor go up (it didn't), so we are planning to leave at 8, so we get there by 10.  We're driving all the way down to Longboat Key this morning and we try to get there early so I don't have a parking lot nightmare (finding a spot). We can also park close enough that we're only about 20 steps from the truck and don't have to drag everything a mile down to the water. (boards, towels, chairs, blankie, etc)
