Yes, a Cichlid is a family of predominantly freshwater fishes popular with aquarists. The Trimac or Three-spot Cichlid is one of my personal faves. Definitely not the kind of fish to keep with the guppies and mollies in a 'community tank.'

everytime I see my Freddie avatar it makes me think of Queen tunes. I didn't mean to imply it's been good to me for Karma, just that it makes me feel good to see that pic of Mr Mercury. what's your favorite? i've got miami, james gang rides again, and the james gang greatest hits, which has got some great live tracks at the end of it. i spent so long finding the expanded version of "the bomber," which is pretty much the perfect guitar song -- the expanded version has his interpretation of "bolero" on it. which is awesome, awesome, awesome. turns out "rides again," the actual album, has the short version! and the greatest hits has the long version! gotta be the first time that's ever happened.

My current avatar came to me, when I sought a more profound symbol, to help signify my handle.
I went a-lookin', 'n what did I see? This handy little thing here.
It caught my attention, so I chose it.
