I was informed i needed some new things by the many women the influence my decisions so i took it upon myself to do it so none of them could drag me in to it.

^ , yea pretty much. But it's 99% better than 2 yrs. ago before I had back surgery. And most nights aren't as bad as last night. (trying to look at the bright side!  ;) )  :) 

Oh i can sympathise.. my mothers lower disc (one of them) has exploded.. i didn't even know they could do that. Anyway she had been in such pain that she has slept on the couch for the past 2 months. She may still have to have surgery but it has improved since she had a bunch of shots in it.. here's hopeing

I ripped my ACL.. Anterior Cruciate Ligament.. however not the way most people rip it. I completley severed it and it came about 90% away from the bone.. not good. I didn't sleep for a week and when it was finally controlled with pain killers i managed to get maybe 2 hours of sleep every 24 hours. Wasn't a happy bunny.

Meh.. unfortunatley i don't think there is all that much that can be done with back pain apart from Painkillers really is there?

Well, to add to ^ and ^^'s catalogue of injuries (ooh! 90% off the bone!  :o). I have a stiff thoraxic spine (upper back) caused by weight-training a few years ago. I do excercises that physio tells me will help it. I have good days and not so.

Normal pain killers don't help it.  >:(

Hoo Ha.. mine is about 75% healed now.. it will never get much better than that because i opted to not have surgery.. but in the future i will more than likely have it operated on. I dont really ever feel any pain in it and i would still have been waiting for the operation now.. that's how long the wait is.. also because mine was already beginning to work it'self out by the time i saw a consultant (two months after i did it)  >:(
