It's about 28 degrees and windy. This whole week is due to be the same.. 20s in the morning, 40s in the day, but the Wind Chill Factor is really gonna make it feel like 30s or so.
Supposed to get warmer as the week goes.. Tuesday of next week will be the first good day, and it's gonna rain then. Go figure.

Umm... the local weather service reckons it will be up to 18 (64) today and mostly cloudy. The last fine day for a few days, with cooler weather for the rest of the week bringing rain and temperatures as low as 7 (45)

Well, it was definitely warm yesterday, where I was at. I made a mistake of bringing my coat with me, so I had to take it off and carry it around. Today (Friday) I was at home, where we had some fairly nice warm weather. :)

Hey all,
Thought I'd let you all know I was Ok.
For those who know where I live, yes one of the Tornado's literally went right over the house.
Power was luckily re-connected this morning.
Nobody is dead in our neighberhood although some people are gonna be living with their neighbours for a little while.
It's a testament to our community that everybody is taken care of.
That was by far the biggest storm I've ever been in, It's really being understated on the news, I'm curious as to what the Post Dispatch will say today.
Hopefully Al-B wasn't hit too bad down there in KC.
I was driving home when the storms hit.. :P Let me tell you, I've never seen storms move this fast.
When I left the grocery store there were some storm clouds on the horizon, as I pulled out of the parking lot, things started to fly around.
Transformers were exploding, power cables popping and coming down in a shower of sparks.. that was nasty.
But anyway, everything is cool, only superficial damage around here, the people a couple blocks up weren't as lucky, there was quite a lot of damage to some of the houses there, but like I say, thankfully, nobody is dead.

Nobody is dead in our neighberhood although some people are gonna be living with their neighbours for a little while.
It's a testament to our community that everybody is taken care of.
That was by far the biggest storm I've ever been in, It's really being understated on the news, I'm curious as to what the Post Dispatch will say today.
Hopefully Al-B wasn't hit too bad down there in KC.
I was driving home when the storms hit.. :P Let me tell you, I've never seen storms move this fast.
When I left the grocery store there were some storm clouds on the horizon, as I pulled out of the parking lot, things started to fly around.
Transformers were exploding, power cables popping and coming down in a shower of sparks.. that was nasty.
But anyway, everything is cool, only superficial damage around here, the people a couple blocks up weren't as lucky, there was quite a lot of damage to some of the houses there, but like I say, thankfully, nobody is dead.
I'm just reading about the tornadoes that hit 6 states. I'm glad to hear you're ok. Take care.

The fence in my yard is still there (chainlink) but at the front of the property it's gone all together.
His back yard had wooden fences and they're gone.

We're supposed to get the storms later today, but right now, it's only around 50....the news said we've already hit our high for the day :( It's supposed to get into the low 70s by next week, though 8)
It's amazing how different the weather is just a couple hundred miles away, we've had it like that for a while, and it will continue.

Hmmm, what's new - it's downpouring. I actually do not remember a rainy Easter except for when I was 7 years old (1989) and we had to wait for it to clear outside so we could do an Easter Egg Hunt.

It was beautfiul all day today. What a lovely Easter. :D I remember one Easter back in Chicago when it snowed. That sucked because we had to go to Mass in our new dresses and white patent leather shoes, Easter bonnets and parkas.
