I use Hunt's tomatoe sauce(the kind out of the can, I love it, prefer to stuff like Ragu).
Also the trick is, don't water down your sauce like a lot of folks do(it should be thick), also mix the noodles, and meatsauce in one bowl rather than keeping them seperate(it allows the noodles to kind of absorb the flavor).
Another mistake a lot of people make, is having too many noodles in preportion to sauce.

I think i like the chocolate wafers better than the vanilla ones......these are not vanilla wafer cookies...but rather those ones that come in a pack of chocolate/strawberry/vanilla..they are thin wafers with creme in the middle and they are long and rectangular.

Ah, its one of the many culinary delights of the South.

1  cup  sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 dash salt
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
3-4 ripe bananas, sliced
vanilla wafers



  1. Mix sugar and eggs together.
  2. Add salt, cornstarch, and milk.
  3. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring constantly; cook until thickened.
  4. Remove from heat; add vanilla and mix well.
  5. In serving bowl, layer the wafers, bananas, and the pudding.

Also, it needs to be chilled. Good stuff.

You should try biscuits and gravy too, another good southern staple. Also peach cobbler or blackberry cobbler. And tea is SWEET, dangit.  :P

Diet sodas have been called the “new crack� because they appear to be so physically addicting.  They actually make you fat.  The reason they are promoted so heavily is because people become physically addicted to them and they are cheaper to make than regular sodas.  I did an interesting experiment with people who drank diet sodas on a regular basis.  For two weeks they replaced their diet soda with regular high-calorie sugar sweetened soda.  Amazingly, no one gained any weight.  Even more shocking was 80 percent of the people actually lost weight.  One person lost seven pounds!  This was stunning to me.  Diet foods fall into the same category.  Do not eat anything that is being presented as a diet food.  They are loaded with ingredients that will actually make you fatter, and make you physically addicted. it's like a regular pretzel but...it's a lot bigger and not hard... they are really soft....I buy them frozen though...you are able to pop them in the microwave, etc....and you can put salt on them..but I eat them plain.
They are similiar to pretzels that are served at amusement parks, ballgames, really anyplace. They are really good...I eat them as a snack dipped in ranch dressing.

I like the dough a little undercooked so it is real soft and doughy tasting.  But if the rest of the pizza is nasty too, well then it just ruins everything. :(
