Diane had a tuscan chicken and Julie had a chicken parmesan. I haven't had one in so long because the last couple of times (if I can remember) I just thought they were skimping way too much on the filling but today may have won me back as a customer.

Homemade Spaghetti.

I made the best sauce EVER.

I infused some olive oil with garlic and fresh herbs from my herb garden(which included chives, oregano, thyme, rosemary etc.).  Basically I heated the oil with the stuff in it, that makes it absorb the flavor.  I left the pieces of herbs and garlic in it, and then I cooked the beef which was ground sirloin in it, and added a can of Hunt's tomato sauce, and pulped tomatos and let it simmer with the meat.  I also added some worcestershire sauce and sugar to it.

It turned out VERY summer-y. I think its due to the freshness of having actual tomato pulp in the sauce, and fresh herbs.  It was pungent and aromatic. Notice I cooked the sauce and meat together, and used worcestershire.  Thats because it was actually less of a sauce and more of what you'd call a MEAT GRAVY.  Molto bene.

My parents buy cases of bottled water when they do the shopping every week.  When it's super-hot like it's been, sweet drinks like juice or soda do nothing to quench your thirst or cool you down.  We normally have about 40 bottles at any one time in the fridge.

my friend and I were talking about the price for a bottle of water at a baseball game. He just bought 8 cases at the store, $3.99 per case, with bonus 35 bottles instead of 24.  cost him about 35 bucks, we figured that would get you about 10-12 bottles at the ballpark and at the store he got 280 bottles.
