I didn't want to take that chance with the meat and cheese.  I'd rather throw it away than throw up for a day.

Provolone is an Italian cheese and it's not processed cheese.  You're probably thinking of Velveeta or those nasty cheeses that come in individually wrapped pieces.  Cheese doesn't have to be stinky to be good or real.  I think we may have a cheese snob on our hands. ;D ;)

But I'm sure the majority of us would not want that. It depends on what kind of neighborhood you live in, the age, geographic location, etc. I lived in a dumpy part of CA until 2000 (actually, it started becoming dumpy in the early to mid 90's or so).

Not everybody really wants to hear the same thing. I believe that stereo noise should be confined to the privacy of one's own home. And another thing, I for one find it peaceful to study in a quiet environment, which is what I did after the noise stopped. (We had some directly behind us earlier today.)

With my train tickets, I have to punch them in a special "validating" machine before I board the train; often times, the machine doesn't work! >:( I HIW that happens. Because then I either have to buy a one-way ticket out of the machine, or explain to the conductor (when he comes around to check tickets, which doesn't always happen) that the ticket validator doesn't work (and most times, he understands; I'm sure people have told him that before).
