Subject: Favourite Songs by Talent Show Contestants

Whether it's newer shows like American Idol, or older shows like Star Search, many famous bands/singers first appeared as contestants on many talent shows around the world. What are some of your favourite songs?
I will begin with one that I still love to this day! In 1985, Tiffany (Darwish) appeared on Star Search and 2 years later, she was a global superstar with her cover of the Tommy James and the Shondells song I Think We're Alone Now. Originally she never wanted to record the song because she didn't think it was modern enough. Not only was she wrong, there are people still out there who don't know the song existed before Tiffany. Did you know in 2019, she re-recorded it and released it as a single? Still sounds great!
