Subject: Which Gifs/Buttons Were Commonplace on 1998-2007 Webpages?
Written By: xX07-GhostXx on 05/30/22 at 4:22 pm
I've created a rough draft of a website using a hosting service, as I think it's a form of doing my part to take the Internet back from google and similarly horrible corporations. But apart from background color and text, I want to add more. Namely, web badges, buttons, and maybe gifs.
I found a few webpages featuring some of these, but I'm left wondering if some of my favorites are adequately, or to my liking, old enough. I plan to make my webpage be nostalgic right down to a misleading "(c) 2007" at the bottom, and part of that is putting in appropriate graphics on top of the background, as well.
Webpages I spoke of already: https://anlucas.neocities.org/88x31Buttons.html

I mainly want to know about common icons or graphics in use on webpages from the years 1998-2000, 2003-4, and 2006-7.
