I know there are a few of us on here who are musicians. What cover songs have you performed and why?
Here's one of mine. It is a cover of "If it's over". I actually did this one for fun because I was bored lol.

I have only done karaoke a couple of times. I sang Tide is High as a duet with my daughter who was too shy to do it on her own. And at a Christmas party I sang Take It Easy.
Last year I did two choir things. One was a very powerful song called 21st Century Woman. That was videoed just before the whole Covid thing kicked off in March last year. I then joined the same group virtually to do a group video of We’ll Meet Again for the 75th anniversary of VE Day last year.

I had a list of favourite songs to sing on karaoke, here are some of them:
"Let It Be Me" (plus, several other Everly Brothers hits)
"Streets Of London"
"Edelweiss"
and, I was always ribbed into singing "Delilah".

I don’t sing. It’s horrible. I just play bass covers. I used to be pretty good in the 90s when I was in local bands but now I just screw around at home.

I never sang karaoke but I have sang in chorus/choir, in musicals, and once sang at a wedding. When I was a teen, I went to a wedding (my step-father's niece). I don't know how it came about but the band let me sing a song with them-I sang "You Got a Friend." I remember messing up the first few notes but finally found it. I don't think I did TOO bad considering I never rehearsed it.
Today, I usually just sing in the shower.

I have sang karaoke at my old job, and in total, I have sang 6 songs:

Kingston Town - UB40
Could You Ever Love Me Again - Gary and Dave
Call it Love - Poco
Let's Go - Wang Chung
Thankfully there is no video of me performing these :D

Due to my current condition I have given up karaoke!
