Subject: Which Year Was WORSE: 1999 OR 2000?

Considering both years were dominated by utterly terrible teen pop, boy bands, nu-metal and overplayed pop rock and the original Xbox and Gamecube didn't even exist yet, which year do you think was worse?

Probably 2000. 1999 felt like a very lively and fun year, I really enjoyed that vibe. 2000 felt similar to 1999 but slightly more melancholy, a feeling which only become more apparent after 9/11 happened.
