The bulk of my teens were in the Mid 2010s, but I also identify as an Early 2010s teen since I turned 13 and started high school in Early 2012. I wouldn't say that my high school experience was anything like that of an American drama series. Sorry to disappoint, but most of us '10s high school kids didn't go dancing through the corridors like they did in "Glee".

For early 2010s I would say 21 Jump Street.

Late 2000s is harder. It wasn't that different from the mid-2000s (2005/2006) but there was some new technology. If I had to pick, I would pick Superbad.

I would say for the Y2K, the show Popular was really good. I'm not sure if it was representative, but I really liked that show.

I was there in the '90s, specifically from 1994-1998. Enjoyable for the most part, but there were some not-so-pleasant moments. I was harassed by various kids (name-called), but there were plenty of good people (who treated me with respect).

I've seen some schools in the U.S. do that too; particularly private ones.

Graduated in 2013 from an arts charter school. I miss it so much, I loved how I could be myself and not have to worry about bullying as much as other schools. I wish I hadn’t taken it for granted.
