A link to a webpage that has collected various photographs and designs from each year within each decade a picked out the most popular colors that spanned every decade. From the jaded 90s, bright 2000s, flashy 80s and shiny 2010s.
Do you think this is right ?

No, I remember the 1960s being bright and sunny.
Let the sun shine in!
Groovy!

You are correct. The colors representing the 60s on the chart look much more 70s. in fact the entire charts seems very random. I certainly wouldn't hire that company.

Here's the longer, spacier version of Donovan's 1965 hit "Colours". I love this version, recorded in 1968.

That's "Catch The Wind" his first hit from 1965. The lyrics to "Colours" are as follows:
Yellow is the colour of my true love's hair
In the morning, when we rise
In the morning, when we rise
That's the time, that's the time
I love the best
Blue's the colour of the sky-y
In the morning, when we rise
In the morning, when we rise
That's the time, that's the time
I love the best
Green's the colour of the sparklin' corn
In the morning, when we rise
In the morning, when we rise
That's the time, that's the time
I love the best
Mellow is the feeling that I get
When I see her, m-hmm
When I see her, oh yeah
That's the time, that's the time
I love the best
Freedom is a word I rarely use
Without thinking, oh yeah
Without thinking, m-hmm
Of the time, of the time
When I've been loved

Google has it wrong! He-He!!
I can recall singing different lyrics to "Colours" as a schoolboy, of which I will not repeat here.
