Subject: Choose Your Own Adventure and the future...

Written By: Criz on 10/03/19 at 3:01 pm

So back in the late 70s and 80s CYOA books were really popular - and I loved reading them as a kid and young teen into the 90s. Then Bandersnatch came on Netflix last Christmas and changed the game again.Do you think we'll get more things like that? Will the books come back into fashion again? Who loved CYOA and who still does?

I still have them on my shelf for many years but I don't read them anymore.

Haha - if I don't own it already I would have bought it!

Let me know what you think when you eventually watch it!

I have about 30 also - hopefully pass them onto future generations when the time comes!

I counted about 35, I would like to donate them to a bin somewhere just so I can have some room on my shelves.

I remember them. I liked the concept of them: after reading one page, it gives you two options - if you want to do one thing, turn to page xx; if you want to do option B, go to page yy.

I actually owned two of them, but donated them to a library many moons ago.
