Subject: Madonna The Generational Artist
Written By: exodus08 on 07/13/19 at 3:21 pm
Even though Madonna started out in the 1980s she's been one of the biggest artist for 4 decades. I'd like to divide her albums into 3 Generation categories. Gen X, Gen Y and Z from Studio albums and soundtracks.
Gen X: Madonna first album, Like a virgin, True Blue, Like a Prayer, Erotica, Bedtime stories, Vogue (Dick Tracey soundtrack), Who's that girl? (Soundtrack), Don't cry for me Argentina! (Evita soundtrack).
Gen Y: Ray of Light, Music, American life, Confessions on a dance floor, Hard candy, Beautiful Stranger (Austin Powers: The spy who shagged me soundtrack)
Gen Z: MDNA, Rebel Heart, Madame X
Ray of light (Gen X/Y) Leans more to Gen Y.
MDNA (Gen Y/Z) Leans more to Gen Z.
