Subject: Give the decades nicknames

Only a few decades have recieved nicknames that sticked around:
"The Gay/Nifty Nineties" (1890s)
"The Roaring Twenties"
"The Swinging Sixties"
How would you name the other ones if you had the choice?

I remember someone on here calling the early 90's the "Neighties" ;D

The Roaring 20s
The Dirty 30s
The Fabulous 50s
The Swinging 60s
The Cynical 70s
The Estatic 80s

That’s silly because there was never a period in world history when the 80s were fused with the 90s.
I think some Xers and Xennials subconsciously put the late 80s and early to mid 90s together because they can’t remember what memories belong to what decade.
Historians, on the other hand, usually know what makes ‘the electric 80s’ different from ‘the naughty 90s’.

“The Networking Noughties”.
The 90s were the decade with the most sex songs in it. TV shows like “MTV’s The Grind” could only come out in the 90s. Also, everyone was afraid of getting AIDS in the 90s, so ‘safe sex’ was advertised in everything from the clothing of pop rap artists (TLC) to the new teen dramas of the time (BH 90210). That’s why I went with “The Naughty 90s” for the 1990s.

Since someone on here brought up The Roaring 20s, I’m going to name the 80s “The Artsy 80s”.
