Alot of GREED started in the 80s and movie quality suffered because of it..... Lets discuss it here....
1) Somewhere in time - 1980
The beautiful music in this movie was replaced with generic crap making the movie not as good..... Later 80s VHS and then also DVD releases all have the crap edits....
2) Where the buffalo roam - 1980
This movie was ripped to hell on home media!! (later 80s VHS,etc)
Good music by Jimi Hendrix,etc.... ALL REPLACED WITH CRAP!!!!

Agreed (no pun intended). The musical score from Somewhere in Time became more renowned than the actual film. The score was by John Barry (who was personally recommended by Jayne Seymour). It was integral to the emotion of the film. To change the music would significantly lessen this film experience.
