Subject: My generation definitions (Gen X, Y, and Z)
Written By: Frodomar2002 on 08/19/18 at 12:18 am
Generation X: Born 1965-1974
1974 being an end point for real Gen X, as they were the last to be able to vote in 92', which I consider the last full X election.
X/Y cusp: Born 1975-1981
1981 being the last cusp year, as they were the last to become adults before the turn of the millennium.
Millennial Generation: 1982-1996
Remembering 9/11 is a huge key to being Gen Y, or commonly referred as the Millennial Generation. 1996 is the last year, as they were the last to be in school before 9/11 took place, and could have a chance of remembering it vividly.
iGeneration: 1997-2012
1997 is the first year to be Z, as they were never in elementary school when 9/11 happened and have a rather low chance of remembering it at all. 2012 is the last Z year, as they were in high school and middle school for most of the 2020s, but not old enough to outgrow Z culture

The mods might lock this because it cause an generation argument.
But IMO Generation Z is from 1995-2010.

Mods are gonna lock it, and rightfully so, but before they do, I might as well give my piece;
1883-1891 = Edwardian Generation
1892-1900 = World War I Generation
1901-1909 = Prohibition Generation
1910-1918 = Depression Generation
1919-1927 = World War II Generation
1928-1936 = Silent Generation
1937-1945 = Civil Rights Generation
1946-1954 = Post-War Boomers
1955-1963 = Generation Jones
1964-1972 = MTV Generation
1973-1981 = Generation Catalano
1982-1990 = 2K Generation
1991-1999 = Centennials
2000-2008 = Plurals
2009-2017 = Generation Alpha

No, he’s a fake ass pirate and captain and he’s a 20-year-old white dude who wears his sunglasses at night.
