Today is August 18th, 2018, which means there are 501 days left until January 1st, 2020.

501 days ago from today was April 4, 2017. That means we are closer to the very first week of the 2020's decade than we are to the first week of Trump's presidency.

That also means we are further from 2016 than we are from January 2020.

As of August 18th, 2018, the date December 31st, 2020 is as far away as April 3, 2016. So not only are we closer to the year 2020 as a whole than the year 2015, we're also closer to the last day of the year 2020 than we are to the first day of 2016.

I know this was probably very random, but I thought I'd share it with y'all because it's making me realize how extremely close we are to the new decade.

So 2020 is a year and 4 months away from now. Tbh that feels like a long time for me. I was a totally different person in April 2016 than I am now, so I'm really excited to see how different my life will be in 2020.
