Subject: Any Deadheads here?

I put this here because from 88-95 until Jerry died the Dead was a touring juggernaut which united people young and older and the band had gained a mass audience they hadn't had in the 70s or early 80s. Am curious if anyone here besides me loves the Dead and if anyone here got to see them while Jerry was alive.
Also, their music was a big influence on big 90s bands like Phish and Blind Melon.
I am not one for celebrity worship but Jerry Garcia is probably one of a very few dead celebrities I would love to have spoken to. He's a true hero to me.

I moved this thread because the Grateful Dead has been around since the '60s.
Yes, I like the Dead but wouldn't call myself a Deadhead because I don't have all their albums nor have I ever seen them in concert.
