Subject: Peak Pixar
Written By: Lizardmatum on 07/11/18 at 1:56 pm
Pixar have been making animated feature films since the 90's starting with 'Toy Story' (1995) and it's now somewhat of an end of an era for Pixar as one of the founders and chief creative officers (John Lasseter) has stepped down due to misconduct allegations.
What film did you think they peaked with and what was your favorite?
Personally for me I think they peaked with Toy Story 3. One of the only films to make me tear up at the end and one of my best cinema experiences ever. But my personal favorite will always be Monsters Inc. just due to the amount of creativity that film had.
Thoughts?

Pixar's golden age was 1995-2010. Peak Pixar was Toy Story 2, Monster's Inc, Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, and Cars.

I'm going to say 1995 through 2010, this would include:
- Toy Story (1995)
- A Bug's Life (1998)
- Toy Story 2 (1999)
- Monsters, Inc. (2001)
- Finding Nemo (2003)
- The Incredibles (2004)
- Cars (2006)
- Ratatouille (2007)
- WALL-E (2008)
- Up (2009)
- Toy Story 3 (2010)
Overall, Pixar are still doing extremely well today with films such as Coco and The Incredibles 2.
