Subject: Remember Adam Lambert's 2009 AMA Performance?

In 2009, American Idol contestant Adam Lambert performed one of his songs at the AMAs. During the performance he kissed another guy and the media caused a huge uproar. He even lost endorsements becuase of this performance. Do you think if this happened in 2018, his performance would garner a similar reaction? Or do you think he would be praised for being openly gay on television?
