Subject: Last album(s) you listened to?

Written By: Dundee on 05/20/18 at 7:29 pm

Do we even have a thread for this? ??? I think it would be interesting to know the lastest stuff the good folks on here were putting on. And maybe this way give ideas to the wanderingly lost people what to discover next!! On my part:

Sort of bedroom, slightly psychedelic Pop getting sometimes into dancey sensibilities (thanks to the funky touches) with emotive female vocals overtop. Everything is very tightly and sweetly produced but ultimately doesn't impress that much beyond that very neat factor.

Well the "last" album I listened to was Joni Mitchell's "Blue" (from 1971).  Strangely, I had never given her the time. I loved it and now see Joni as a true pioneer of the singer songwriter scene.

Joni is one of my top 5 all time favorite singers, but the last albums I've listened to was Mental Funeral by Autospy(death metal) and Black Ark in Dub by Lee Scratch Perry (dub reggae).

Resistance is Futile, the new album by Manic Street Preachers.  I purchased a physical copy because I still love CDs and I had it playing in my car

It has been a long time since I listened to an album, at home it would be The Beatles or Enya, but I can recall travelling on a car, listening to the soundtrack of the movie "Notting Hill", and that was must certainly a CD ablum.
